After five months hidden in the studio, the Sweet Dreams Unicorn painting is completed

I wanted to create a painting of a peaceful unicorn. I made the game out of it and let the children at a birthday party colour the entire surface of the canvas as they wished. I started with a sketch inspired from a birthday card, permanent marker edding 3000 directly on a gessoed canvas.

When I paint fantasy themes I use more than just four colours. Green, magenta, cyan, violet and orange I used directly out of the bottle. I took the painting outside to spray it with a graffiti can. This is how I got the misty blue cloud effects. 

The dimensions are 90 by 120 cm. I started in June and finished in November, but most of the time I was waiting for inspiration.
